Frequently asked questions

How do I create a QR code for my website?
Paste your website URL into the Website field above, customize the color and pattern style, then click Download PNG or Download SVG. No account is required.
Can I create a Wi-Fi QR code?
Yes — select the Wi-Fi tab, enter your network name, password, and security type. Guests scan the code to connect instantly without typing credentials.
Is QR Studio free?
Yes, completely free. Generate, customize, and download as many QR codes as you like — no account, no watermarks, no limits.
How is QR Studio different from other QR code generators?
Most free QR code generators send the data you enter to a server to render the code, and often add tracking, watermarks, or account requirements. QR Studio generates every code entirely client-side in your browser — nothing you type is ever transmitted or stored — while still offering custom colors, dot patterns, and a center logo, all free with no account.
What file formats can I download?
PNG is a raster image, great for digital use and most print sizes. SVG is a vector format that scales to any size without quality loss — ideal for large-format printing or logos.
Does QR Studio store or upload my data?
No. Every QR code is generated entirely in your browser — the URL, Wi-Fi password, email, or contact details you enter are never sent to or stored on any server.
Does QR Studio warn about unsafe links?
Yes — website QR codes are checked against known-unsafe patterns, such as raw IP addresses, local network addresses, and high-abuse domains, and you'll see a warning before downloading if something looks risky.
Can I add a logo to my QR code?
Yes — upload an image under "Logo in center (optional)" and it's placed in the middle of the QR code. QR Studio uses high error-correction so the code stays scannable with a logo added.
